College of Education for Pure Sciences Holds a Workshop about the World Environment-Friendly Universities Classification

Wednesday 14 March , 2018 under the auspices of prof. Dr. Khalid Batal Al-Najim president of Anbar University and supervised by the dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences Dr. Ali Obeid Mihesin , the Section of Quality Assurance and  Academic Performance held a workshop entitled ( For an Environment- Friend University ) at the hall of Prof. Dr. Hameed Shahooth .

The workshop was started with a holy recitation of holy Quran and the welcoming speech of the college's dean .A video show was presented concerning the World Environment-Friendly universities Classification  by Dr. Atyaf abdulqahar eniviroment activist and an instructor of the Dept. of Chemistry  .This workshops included many aspects like recycling the trash , utilizing the sun power, protecting water from pollution ,underground water , low fuel consumption , designing the  World Environment-Friendly infrastructures and using curricula , symposia and educational workshop to keep the environment .

          The workshop also witnessed a show about the role of information technology in improving the World Environment-Friendly universities Classification by Dr. Ala'a Mahmood Farhan , a professor of the Dept. of Physics and the director of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Section of the college .The University president gave his notes for  enriching the workshop content throughout stating the views , strategy and achieved plans of those criteria and future ambition of the university according to the  nowadays requirements .

          Many of the teaching staff and students of the college attended the workshop .
