Under the patronage of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtak Talib Al-Neda, and under the supervision of the Director of the Central Library Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Zuhair Jaber Mushrif, and in cooperation with the Al?Abbas Shrine Digital Library, the Central Library Department at the University of Anbar has announced its official accession to the Iraqi Digital Repository.
This step comes within a developmental vision that supports digital transformation, advances knowledge infrastructure, and strengthens the scientific research ecosystem in accordance with approved academic standards.
This accession aligns with an institutional approach aimed at developing the digital knowledge environment of the Central Library, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to researchers and postgraduate students, and offering digital platforms that keep pace with the requirements of scientific research and higher education.
Through this collaboration, the scientific output of University of Anbar affiliates can be deposited in the Iraqi Digital Repository, including theses, dissertations, and peer-reviewed scientific research across various disciplines. This contributes to preserving the university’s scholarly output and making it electronically accessible in accordance with approved academic regulations and standards, enabling faculty members and postgraduate students to access the University of Anbar’s scholarly works in full text.
This accession represents a qualitative step that reflects the University of Anbar’s commitment to promoting open access to knowledge, supporting digital transformation within academic institutions, and consolidating its scientific and academic presence at both national and international levels—thereby enhancing its standing within the higher education and scientific research ecosystem.
