Continuous Research Growth in the Performance of University of Anbar Researchers in the Web of Science Database

As part of the continuous support provided by the Presidency of the University of Anbar for scientific research, and under the guidance of the University President, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, who is committed to strengthening high-quality scientific research and enhancing the University's presence in leading international indexing databases, particularly the Web of Science database by Clarivate, the University continues to achieve remarkable progress in research productivity and international scientific publishing.

According to the Web of Science data issued on July 4, 2026, the total number of publications authored by researchers affiliated with the University of Anbar and indexed in the database has reached 3,541 papers, reflecting the University's sustained advancement in research performance and the growing quality and quantity of its publications in internationally recognized journals.

The data also include detailed rankings of University of Anbar researchers based on the number of publications indexed in the Web of Science, arranged in descending order, together with each researcher's percentage contribution to the University's total research output. These indicators provide an accurate overview of research participation while fostering a culture of excellence and healthy academic competition among researchers.

In line with its commitment to supporting researchers and promoting an outstanding research environment, the Presidency of the University of Anbar has attached two files to this announcement, listing the Top 100 and Top 250 University researchers according to the number of publications indexed in the Web of Science as of the above-mentioned date, in recognition of their scientific achievements and to encourage continued excellence in international research and publishing.
