Higher Euphrates Basin Development Center Holds a Scientific Symposium

 Tue. ,20 march , 2018 and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khalid Batal Al-Najim ; president of Anbar University ; and to have an organized water consumption and usage ..  Higher Euphrates Basin Development Center of Anbar university Held a Scientific Symposium on the World Water Day  entitled (( Water Administration Securing & Development )) at the hall of Desert Studies Center of the university campus .This symposium was attended by Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida the scientific assistant of the university president  .It had been honored at first by recitation of some holy Quranic verses followed by the speech of the university president presented by Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida who in return revealed the greetings of the university president for this scientific gathering and at the same time for choosing such an important subject along with the water crisis sweeping the whole world .

          Dr.Ayad Sulaibi gave the speech of the head of Higher Euphrates Basin Development Center of Anbar university in which he stressed on the importance of all specialized centers to have a positive role for bringing forth solutions to get rid of this problem .The opening speech was presented by prof. Hatem Hameed Hussein deputy of the National Center of Water Resources Administration .The symposium included four perspectives : the first was about water outcome and small dams ' series  - strategic views for administrating Higher Euphrates dams , as the second stressed on clean energy and rehabilitating the aforesaid dams .The third issue was entitled the environment of Higher Euphrates Basin and the Grand Water reservoirs .The fourth issue was about Modern Irrigation Techniques and Adequacy of utilizing water .Many researches   tackling the water resources administration and the best water usage were presented  by many researchers of Anbar university , water resources specialists and Science and Anbar Technology Directorate

          Successfully the symposium was concluded by presenting Certificates of Appreciation ( LoA) to the participants by the scientific assistant . It worth mentioning  , this workshop had been attended by vice- governor for scientific affairs  , colleges' deans , directors of offices , and a group of university professors and students .
