Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research Signs A Cooperation Protocol with International Publishing Houses for Data Exchange of Scientific Journals

Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research signed a cooperation Protocol with the international publishing house (EBSCO) for data exchange of scientific academic journals .The cultural advisor of the Iraqi embassy in Beirut Dr. Suhail Najim Abdullah declared that the aim of this program is to start joint cooperation between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and WBSCO in relation to exchanging database of the Iraqi scientific academic journals with the database brought by WBSCO .
He added this protocol was signed by the Iraqi under – secretary for scientific affairs Dr. Fuad Qasim with the attendance of the Iraqi ambassador Dr. Ali Abbass Al-Amiry and the cultural advisor of the embassy .He clarified that this step will take part in developing the site of the Iraqi academic journals till attaining a knowledge – encouraging community according to a national endeavor that can serve our foundations and paves the way before the researchers to benefit the scientific world achievements published digitally . He described such project as one of the most important of strategic ones adopted by the Directorate of Research & Development of the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific research under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdulrazq Al-Issa .
