Automation of office of Scholarships and its Cultural Attaches

The Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research announced the completion of the requirements to start the automation of itsScholarships Office and the electronic management of its work.Upon meeting with the delegate of the American organization IREX, which was headed by Ms. Laura Macin, IREX chief advisor, Dr. Abdul-Razzq Al--Essa, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, said that the completeion of the requirements for the automation of the Scholarship Office is a quality move into total management through minimizing and simplifying routine procedures for the applicants of all channels of study outside Iraq. The Minister expressed his gratitude to the American side as represented by IREX and the American Embassy in Baghdad for the technical and financial support to this project. This project shall provide an electonic system which connects the Iraqi cultural attaches and universities with the Scholarship office which will facilitate follow up of scholarship students and certificate assessment and equivalency. He explained that the ministry is prceeding with automation projects in all its offices. The meeting was attended by Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, director of the Scholarships Office.
