Workshop on Electronic Cheating on Tests

Sunday, 6/5/2018, Under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, the scientific vice-president of UOA, the office of the scientific vice-president organized a workshop was on the methods of electronic cheating on tests and counter measures. Two lectures were presented on the subject by experts in the field from the college of computer & information technology. Dr. Omar Abdul-Rahman Dawood made a detailed presentation on the huge advances in electronic cheating on tests, especially with the spread on smart phones, and its serious impact on academic education. Assist. Prof. Dr. Bilal Ismail Al-Khatib spoke on the best counter measures to electronic cheating on tests. Prof. Al-Neda, in his turn, stressed that application of academic standards and technological counter measures in examination halls to eliminate this dangerous phenomenon on individuals and community itself. He adds that e-copies on means and counter measures to this issue shall soon be distributed to deans and staff members of the university. the workshop was attended by the scientific assistants to deans of colleges, directors of the presidency departments, and heads of scientific departments in the colleges of the university.
