The University President inaugurates the building of the first project for the manufacture of prosthetics in the governorate.

The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mushtak Taleb Saleh Al-Neda, inaugurated the building of the project for the manufacture and rehabilitation of prosthetics within the Competitive Financing Project of the World Bank Fund to support Higher Education Projects in Iraq. This project obtained the third rank in the competition launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the World Bank Foundation. Prof. Dr. Yousef Al-Mashadani, a specialist in prosthetics, said that the project aims to produce and rehabilitate prosthetics by the capabilities of Iraqi researchers and to work on qualifying new graduates from the scientific departments at the university to work on the production and rehabilitation of prosthetics. The project will be the base of the Medical Engineering Research Center, which will soon be established at the University of Anbar, that one of its departments will be the production and rehabilitation of prosthetics. The project consists of three main departments: the Research and Training Department, the Prosthetics Production Department, and the Prosthetics Rehabilitation Department
