A Visit to the Iraqi Embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

The President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and met with Mr. Munif Ali Hussain, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy and Prof. Dr. Khair Al-Din Al-Amin, Cultural Attaché in the Cultural Department/Amman. Al-Nida expressed his gratitude for the facilities provided by the Embassy, expressing, at the same time, that the University of Anbar seeks, through signing memorandums of understanding with the discreet Jordanian universities, to increase the area of international cooperation, referring to the directives and aspirations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in this regard.

For his part, Mr. Munif Ali Hussain expressed his happiness with the achievements of the University of Anbar and its strenuous and strategic steps to elevate its academic reputation in a position comparable with the sober international universities. He also expressed his pleasure at the University of Anbar’s attempt to attract a large number of international students as part of the "Study in Iraq" initiative launched by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Research, Dr. Naim Yasser Al-Aboudi.

The cultural Attaché, Prof. Dr. Khair Al-Din Al-Amin, also confirmed his happiness at the visit of the official delegation of the University of Anbar to the Jordanian universities and the signing of memorandums of understanding, stressing that the Cultural Attaché in Amman provides all necessary facilities to activate these memorandums between the University of Anbar and the Jordanian universities.

At the conclusion of the visit, the President of the University presented the shield of the University of Anbar to the Chargé d'Affaires, wishing the Embassy staff continued brilliance and creativity in service to our dear country.
