The University Achieves an Influential Position in the British Times Ranking

The University of Anbar has achieved an influential position in the famous British Times Ranking, outperforming well-established Iraqi universities such as (Baghdad, Basra, Mosul, Al-Mustansiriya, and Kufa) by scoring an advanced rank among thirteen Iraqi universities that achieved competitive results for the year 2024, as a result of which Iraq has ranked (37) globally.

This came during the announcement of the famous British Times Ranking’s results of its new version for the year 2024, which ranked and evaluated (1904) universities from (108) countries around the world.

The British Times Ranking adopts major criteria for ranking universities based on eighteen indicators to evaluate and measure the performance in five domains: teaching (learning environment) 29.5%, research environment 29%, research quality 30%, international reputation 7.5%, and industry income 4%.

Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Nida, President of the University of Anbar, congratulated all the University’s staff on this achievement, which is added to the series of scientific achievements the University made by taking fast steps towards globalization, and scoring advanced positions in the international rankings through publishing solid scientific researches. He calls every staff member to exert more effort to serve the scientific march in our University and our dear Iraq.
