The University President Heads a high-level Delegation to France

Within the strategic plan of the University of Anbar to open up to the reputable international universities and strengthening international partnerships, a high-level delegation from the University of Anbar visited French universities headed by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Neda, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Amir Abdul Rahman Hilal, the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, and the Head of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Dr. Duraid Moayed Abdel.

The visit included the establishment of a real and strategic partnership and the development of action plans and a road map to extend bridges of scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Anbar and the sober French universities that are classified among the first hundred universities in the ShanghaiRanking and other international rankings.

Our university delegation gave a brief presentation on the achievements of the University of Anbar and its strategic plans at various scientific and academic levels. Our university delegation also met with the FRANÇOIS SCHNEIDER FOUNDATION, which is the highest scientific institution operating under the umbrella of the Ministry of Higher Education and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Several issues were discussed, the most important of which is enhancing the dissemination of joint research internationally, exchanging professor visits, and developing action plans to train undergraduate and postgraduate from the University of Anbar in French universities in the short and long term. Our university delegation also discussed the possibility of increasing the opportunity for French students to study at University of Anbar within the “Study in Iraq” initiative, noting that the official visit extends for several days and with an intensive work schedule to visit the prestigious French universities.
