The University of Anbar is ranked third among Iraqi state universities

The Association of Arab Universities released the first edition of the Arab ranking of universities for the year 2023. The indicators for this ranking were prepared through cooperation between the Association of Arab Universities, the League of Arab States, the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALESCO) and the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils. The ranking indicators were designed to evaluate the comprehensive tasks of universities, including quality, teaching and learning, teaching staff excellence, scientific research, creativity and innovation.

The University of Anbar was ranked third among Iraqi state universities, while it came in 50th position out of 208 Arab universities applied for this evaluation, of which 115 universities from 16 Arab countries were evaluated. On this occasion, the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Saleh Al-Neda congratulated all the University’s members for achieving this advanced position, stressing that this result reflected the outcome of the University plans in the field of education, learning and scientific research, calling everyone to continue joint work between the staffs and members of the University institutions to achieve the aim of the University scientific plan.
