Assistant Professor Dr. Sattar Salem Ibrahim from the Department of Chemistry in the College of Science at Anbar University participated in the Second International Exhibition for Patents and Industrial Designs (Pascal International Competition), which was held at Soran University in Erbil on (November 29-30, 2023).
Dr. Sattar presented a patent entitled “Using an environmentally friendly method to transform Nylon 66 waste into a highly economically viable product,” which aims to remove environmental pollutants that pose a threat to human life, especially Nylon 66; Because it is one of the ingredients that humans use daily.
The patent was evaluated by a specialized scientific committee, and it won the gold medal and the creativity medal in the competition.
