Doctoral thesis discusses(Evaluation of The Phytoremediation Efficiency of Some Aquatic Plants on Some Selected Heavy Metals)

The aim of the study submitted by the student (Yossri Sa'adoon Rasheed) from the Department of Biology to included the use of phytoremediation technique by testing the ability of three types of aquatic plants (Mentha longifolia, Apium nodiflorum, and Nasturtium officinale) to remove heavy pollutants from water bodies in Sulaymaniyah Governorate - Kurdistan Iraq. As the study proved to be useful plants and high value in the removal of contaminants from the environment and at the lowest cost and in a friendly environment.
